TEENS MIXED MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM

The teenage years are a period of enormous physical, social and personal development. Our teens program harnesses the power of martial arts as a vehicle to help young people build the skills and confidence to navigate those challenges.

Through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Wrestling, students develop more than physical ability. They learn discipline, resilience, problem-solving and how to remain composed under pressure - all while becoming part of a supportive community.

Build Confidence. Develop Resilience. Find Your Tribe.

Our teens program is designed to provide a positive environment where students can challenge themselves, develop independence and build confidence through genuine achievement. Much more than simply keeping teenagers active, it is about giving them a place where effort is valued, challenges are embraced and progress is worked for. A place to develop physically and mentally, surrounded by coaches and teammates who want to see them succeed.

Teens Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)

In our teens BJJ classes, students learn how to think strategically while dealing with constantly changing situations. They develop the ability to remain calm under pressure, solve problems in real time and understand that success often comes through patience and persistence rather than force.

Beyond the technical skills, BJJ provides teenagers with an opportunity to develop genuine confidence. Progress is earned through consistent practice, helping students build resilience and trust in their own ability to overcome challenges.

teens kickboxing

Students develop their understanding of movement, distance, timing, defence and effective striking, while improving coordination, athleticism and overall physical confidence.

Training is challenging, engaging and structured. More importantly, it teaches teenagers how to remain disciplined under pressure, manage intensity and develop confidence through competence.

teens Wrestling

Our teens Wrestling classes teach students how to control and adapt to a resisting opponent while developing athleticism, coordination and total-body awareness.

Wrestling can be physically demanding, but it also teaches an important lesson: challenges aren't always comfortable. Through consistent practice, students learn to embrace difficult situations and to persevere when things are not going their way.

teens BJJ Randori

Translated from the Japanese martial arts term, “Randori” means free practice. It introduces a more open and unpredictable environment. Both training partners are actively working, adapting and responding to one another, requiring students to apply their knowledge in real time.

The goal isn't simply to win. Randori is an opportunity to explore, experiment and learn - discovering what works, identifying areas for improvement and developing the ability to remain composed under pressure.

teens Mixed MArtial Arts (MMA)

MMA is where the individual disciplines begin to come together.

Striking, clinching, takedowns and ground control are no longer studied as completely separate skills. Instead, students begin to explore how one situation can naturally lead into another and learn to adapt as the environment changes.

MMA is not about accumulating more techniques. It is about learning how to connect the skills you already have.

How It All Comes Together

Our teens program is designed as a connected martial arts journey rather than a collection of separate classes.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Wrestling provide the individual building blocks. Students develop an understanding of the different ranges of martial arts and the skills required within each.

MMA then teaches them how those individual components connect. BJJ Randori introduces another level of development: application. Through increasingly live and adaptive training, students learn to problem-solve and apply their skills against a partner who is actively responding.

Together, these classes provide a clear pathway.

Two Pathways. One Foundation.

Our teens program is structured around two membership options, designed to support a student's natural progression through martial arts.

TEENS ESSENTIALS
Build the foundation.

Teens Essentials is the starting point for all new students and forms the core of our teens program. These classes provide the essential building blocks of martial arts. Students learn how to strike, wrestle and control an opponent on the ground while developing the movement, timing and understanding required within each individual discipline.

For teenagers starting martial arts, this is where the journey begins.

TEENS COMPLETE
Integrating it all together.

Teens Complete builds upon the foundation established through Teens Essential.

Once students have developed the necessary understanding and experience across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Wrestling, they can progress into Teens MMA and BJJ Randori.

Progression into these classes is not simply based on wanting to attend more sessions. We want students to first develop the foundation that allows them to train confidently, safely and effectively.

Build the foundation first. Then learn how to connect and apply it.

A clear path forward

Our teens program is not designed as a collection of separate classes. Each stage has a specific purpose.

ESSENTIALS → Develop the individual skills and build a strong foundation.

COMPLETE → Connect those skills through MMA and learn to apply them through increasingly live training.

There is no rush to progress. Martial arts is a long-term journey and we believe the strongest progress comes from taking the time to build a solid foundation before moving forward.
